The Boss DS-1 is a popular distortion pedal. It has three controls, Tone, Distortion, and Level. It is built in the usual compact pedal shape that Boss is famous for. The DS-2 "Mega Distortion" is also avaible, which offers more options for EQ. It has input and output jacks, but no bypass jacks. Like all of Boss's compact pedals, it can run on both AC power or battery power using a 9 volt battery.
